WB open windows in same window?
HI, Just wondering if there are any hacks for workbench, so that when you open a new folder, it opens in the same window instead of opening a new one?
When you get 4 or 5 deep, it starts getting full. |

Not really in Workbench itself - it simply doesn't work like that. If you're using any version from Workbench 3.5 on, you can hold down the right Amiga key when opening a drawer and it will close the previous drawer, so even though there's a new window opened, you don't leave a trail of windows open behind it.
Alternatively, managing your files with an alternative system like DOpus (particularly DOpus 5, which can replace Workbench), you'll have additional options for using just a single window. |

Another possible option is to get hold of 3.1.4 intuition.library (or power windows ng) to enable dragging windows off the edge of the screen, thereby giving yourself more desktop real estate.
