Power supply mods: PicoPSU ATX adapter or solder wires?

Hey guys,

I am updating the PSU of the Amiga, so I don't need the inverter from 220V to 110V. I have got a picoPSU 90W, which seems to work just fine.

I did cut the amiga power connector from the PSU and wired it on top of anATX connector; from a broken power supply; it works fine; except that I need a load (I use the floppy as load for the PicoPSU) and a switch, since the ATX protocol need to short the on pin to start power. As external brick I use a 12V 6A power brick.

Now, this has some drawbacks: I have a cable going from the Amiga to an ATX adapter, which plug in the PicoPsu; and then another wire that goes from the Pico to the 12V brick; and this is a lot of wires. So I am planning to miniaturize as much as possible, and looking for suggestions.

The pico fits in the Amiga case; although I need to solder wires on the Amiga board itself, so I can bypass the connector, and I am not sure where the wires should go.

Also, the PicoPSU has an ATX connector mounted on top of it; is there an adaptor that break down the ATX connector in just the basic lines for the Amiga? the connector is big; and I am trying to have something as compact as possible.
