A1200 not 'seeing' a partition.

With lots of help from the kind folks on this forum I am close to gaming nirvana. Everything works fine in WinUAE but when I install my HD into my 1200 it boots into Workbench but does not see DH1. If I click DH1: in DOpus I get an Out of Memory error.

The HD is something like 4.3gig so I *think* the problem is the drive size and I need to repartition and leave part of the HD unused. The Workbench partition is 205meg with the rest assigned to DH1: Just thought I would check with the experts before I start repartitioning for no reason. If I do need to repartition is 205meg for Workbench a sensible size?

Just remembered I formatted the drive using SFS as per the FAQ if that makes a difference.

Yes, that's correct. Just check the "last cylinder" of the partition. (last cylinder + 1) * blocks per cylinder * 512 should be less than 4,294,967,296.

It would make a difference if you used a very old version of SFS (1.87 or less). Later versions of SFS dropped Direct-SCSI support and therefore suffer from the 4GB problem again.
