Moonstone
Remember Moonstone? What a fantastic game it was! Also amazingly difficult. Did anyone ever defeat that huge dragon? or whats the most amount of money anyone ever won in the tavern?

same here. spent ages and ages playing it, beat the dragon finally and was stumped by the ghosty type thing on the stones...
agh! should play it again i reckon. there was an easy (ish) way of killing most of the creatures if you played it enough (including to some extent the dragon - i remember running from one side of the screen to the other, quick sword slash, run back, and then top to bottom - repeat repeat repeat - or something like that i think! as for gambling - never kept a record of winnings, but i usually did OK! |

Is there a WHD version of Moonstone so you don't have to keep swapping disks?

Hmm that must have been one game I was a bit poor at - I dont remember ever defeating the dragon. The most annoying things were the monsters that dragged you underground regardless of how much power you had!

This game was always a challenge, because, when you managed to get your stats up (eg: heaps of health, tough armour, sword of sharpness), multiple enemies would appear in place of one.:eek
It was especially hard to take on two (or more) of those running bulls, which impaled you on their horns, at once. One of my fav games. |

I finished Moonstone on the PC. Great game. To kill the dragon stand very close to him and stab him in the neck. Then you get the best sword I think and it gets easier.

I cheated in this game. When you go to the altar for an extra life, just select a knife as an item to sacrifice.
