Issues with my cocolino adapter and a Megadrive arcade stick

Hi all,

I would be grateful if you could help me solve two issues with my amiga hardware...

First of all, I am running on a A1200 classic, with a Blizzard IV 1230 @ 50 MHz FPU+MMU, SCSI kit, indivision AGA, 64 Mo ram (32 x 2), and Bloodwich v27 adv SP as the OS (3.1 kickstart).

1) Is it normal than on the first boot, the Cocolino mouse is not moving on the Workbench ? I am forced to reboot to get the pointer moving, as if the mouse was not initialized at the first start. So double boot and then it's fine.

I recently posted on the game issues section, because the cocolino adapter messes up with the Heimdall WHDload slave. On the Save screen, the pointer freezes (It works perfectly with a regular Amiga mouse). It is the only incompatibility I am aware of... Do Cocolino users have also such issues ?

2) Also a very strange problem I emailed Psygore about : In his Fighting spirit WHDload slave, my SEGA Megadrive Arcade stick is only working as a one button joypad (even if the 2 buttons options is set on). In any other game, the pad works correctly. Funny, because a megadrive regular pad is fully recognised as 2 buttons in fighting spirit. So a bug with a particular controller in a specific game...

Any ideas?

1) Not normal, try it with a different mouse.
2) Is the arcade stick also three-button or does it have six?
The six button sega pads are a lot more timing critical than the three button ones.
