What hardware is this?
I was just looking around on the Hyperion Website and looked at this screenshot.
What hardware do you think they are using? PPC750(G3) with 32Meg Chip and Regular Agnus and Denise chips? I think it is an AmigaOne and "ShowConfig" just prints out rubbish? ![]() |

Gorky 17... just like the window title says
![]() And yes that is an AmigaOne... I believe it'll be on a classic with a PPC accelerator... I'll see what my (G4) AmigaOne says when I run "ShowConfig" |

I feel certain that it is just an AmigaOne and "ShowConfig" in OS4 reports rubbish.
If it was a classic with a PPC accelerator.... then it might be interesting as no released Classic PPC accelerator had a PPC750 |

Gimmie 5 minutes, solder sucker, hammer and a prune sandwich...
and although you might not get 750 mhz pcc.. should get a funny sound with the solder sucker and hammer... not to mention the after sandwich entertainment... |

Not directly... But recently there's been released an inline UAE emulator which integrates into the OS... so you COULD run stuff...
It runs most Workbench apps natively at least.. which is nice... haven;t ventured into WHDLoad or anything yet... since I use my 4000 for classic games... May try it sometime soon though since the 4000 is packed up for a while... The A1 was basically bought just because I could.. lol.. a £1000 "just because" but it works ![]() You can run al the hyperion released games on it too... and most of the other 3D accelerated games... ![]() |
