It would have been a nice game, probably, and I do a have a soft spot for Conan the Barbarian.

Point 3 of the notes gives the answer:
[3] Previewed in Amiga Action 73 (Aug '95, pp48-49), HYBORIA had neither a publisher nor a planned release date. Ultimately, neither the Amiga nor the PC version were ever completed/released. |

Don't know what you mean? It only say that conversion hardware is DOS. That only means there was an (un)finished? version or Demoversion which obviously never got released. HOL entry may be a bit confusing but is absolutely correct.

Little bump in subject
I play Hyboria demo some time ago, while there are no collision detection You can still exit first room and enter second one. Fight hand to hand guard, unlock two doors and that is all I have managed to do. I wonder if anybody manage to enter other rooms? Last edited by Gzegzolka; 12 August 2023 at 22:41. |

You need to unlock door and walk outside room and search for right spot (near edge of the screen) that will take You to next room. Sadly I did not manage to find that spot at second room.
Very small update - You can also die on that second room, just do not fight guard and he will kill You after few blows, next You will see as Conan falls at the ground and demo will quit to wb. Last edited by Gzegzolka; 11 September 2017 at 17:07. |
