narrator.device?

Is narrator.device emulated? If not, is there any plan to add it in the future? I tried running say, but I would either get an error, or it would crash.

I don't know why it crashes but I can assure you that there is nothing to emulate. There is no narrator hardware in an Amiga, every word is assembled by the narrator.device itself and output through the Amiga sound chips which are already emulated. I am quite sure the crash is some configuration issue.

Have you installed translator.library, too?

Say doesn't work easily in OS3.5 and 3.9 as it takes some playing about with to get it work work, it either crashes or just doesn't open (with no error message).

Yeah, I installed translator.library and it tells me narrator.device does not exist (I only get this error message using a say replacement off aminet). I have tried this in OS 3.9, and booting from floppy in OS 1.3. Whenever I run say, it shows the memory being used in the memory bar at the top, then the memory returns. The program window never pops up. However, this works perfectly on a real Amiga.
