I'll try and get some pictures up over the weekend - unfortunately my plans have changed slightly - could be decorating all weekend for an elderly aunt that's moving into a new flat (that's bright pink walls and bright yellow woodwork WTF ) and need a new motor as I could be selling mine tomorrow if I'm offered enough
Along with the pictures I'll also show you some of the equipment used - double pr0n for Zetr0 Dave G |

I can't believe you started this thread asking for someone else to do the job...as you quite clearly have done an EXCELLENT job of it yourself!!!!

If someone had been nearer though I would have gone for them to do it. It wasn't easy and is so damm easy to fcuk up your motherboard but it was well worth the expense and agro Dave G |

These are the ones that seem to give the most trouble. Although at the same time I also got all the other capacitors. These I'll do at a later date when I've played with the Miggy enough Dave G |

I've just completed removal of the original CAPS on the A3640 rev 3.0 board from my A4000D and here is a pic of the board with the caps removed.
I'm also doing all the caps on the main board too. Sound etc... Last edited by essence25; 01 September 2008 at 01:44. |
