I do share your pain with the digital cameras, but my m8y Sarek hooked me up with a fine Fuji Fine Pix 5M nice hires hardware pron that leaves nothing to the imagination.
Yes, if I wasn't spending so much on getting all my Amigas back together and in running order I might be able to afford something better than my old ko*ak

I'll try and get some pictures up over the weekend - unfortunately my plans have changed slightly - could be decorating all weekend for an elderly aunt that's moving into a new flat (that's bright pink walls and bright yellow woodwork WTF ) and need a new motor as I could be selling mine tomorrow if I'm offered enough

Along with the pictures I'll also show you some of the equipment used - double pr0n for Zetr0

If your camera has macro it should take clear close ups.
Good to see your 4000 working again though
Good flux for the win btw

And another set of Pr0n for Zetro

I only replaced the 22 capacitors as they are they ones that go mostly.

I may do the rest eventually but I've got my sound working again so I'm a happy Amigain

I can't believe you started this thread asking for someone else to do the job...as you quite clearly have done an EXCELLENT job of it yourself!!!!

I must admit that I was very nervous about doing it and had a bit of practice on some scrap stuff before attacking the 4000D but I got there in the end

If someone had been nearer though I would have gone for them to do it. It wasn't easy and is so damm easy to fcuk up your motherboard but it was well worth the expense and agro

No I meant I only replaced the 22µF electrolytic capacitors (of which there are 5 on the main board) not 22 capacitors

These are the ones that seem to give the most trouble. Although at the same time I also got all the other capacitors. These I'll do at a later date when I've played with the Miggy enough

I've just completed removal of the original CAPS on the A3640 rev 3.0 board from my A4000D and here is a pic of the board with the caps removed.
I'm also doing all the caps on the main board too. Sound etc...
