Fantastic Dizzy AGA?
Apparently there's an AGA version of Fantastic Dizzy according to this review. It's not listed in HOL however and I've never come across a copy anywhere myself. Does anyone have this or know if it actually exists?

It sounds like an A1200 fixed version rather than one with AGA enhancements.

Maybe it never came out.
The reviewer claims the difference is negligeable. Could just be AGA crock. Dear lord knows there was so much of it flying around in those days. If only half of what i saw announced for AGA had gotten released... |

There is indeed a super rare AGA version of Fantastic Dizzy.
It used all the sega megadrive graphics and removed the big black borders for full screen scrolling and quarter pixel scroll!! It came as part of the BIG6 CD32 collection. I also still have a version on floppy, with an install to HD option. I wrote it on my Amiga A4000 after I left Codemasters to join Core Design. Seems to be quite hard to find a copy of the AGA version, but worth hunting for it as it was the best version, better than the megadrive version too Del / 2010 |

I'll unbox the a4k and dump the disks when I get a chance. Surely there is an iso of the big6 cd32 CDROM somewhere on the net... Saw a copy on eBay recently

@delz
Welcome to EAB - that's (ahem) fantastic. Who'd have thought starting a thread with a casual enquiry three years ago would pay off If you get the chance to create ADFs of your disks and upload them that would be excellent - the floppy version appears to be non-existent unfortunately. Or at least I've never seen it crop up anywhere. Thanks a lot! |

Wow, now one of the hackers here (hint, hint) can make a WHDLoad of the AGA version and include ECS music in it... perfection
