New game made with Backbone "Jump Block Jump!"

Introducing new game from Amiman99 made with Backbone called "Jump Block Jump!"
The game plays similarly to other "run and jump" games popular on mobile platforms.
It requires precise jumps and some memorization.
The game contains 11 levels and it's playable on Amiga CD32 and other 020 Amigas.
Do to the fact that Backbone's speed depends on CPU speed, it is recommended to play the game on stock CD32 and plain A1200.
I have play tested the game on CD32, A600 030 25MHz, and A1200 030 50MHz.

The game was primarily tested on A1200 030 50MHz and the feel of the game is perfect, so if you are for a challenge try it on faster machine.

I'm providing 2 versions, one ISO for CD32 and second for other Amigas.

Fixed versions Rev9
Fixed some level design and spelling.

LHA https://www.dropbox.com/s/9n4h73kkm2...umpR9.lha?dl=0

Good luck and enjoy.

Thanks for releasing the final version amiman99. I remember the test version and, like I said, I love the simplicity and it's an ideal game to make with backbone. Just a bit hard.

I had to make it hard, if not, you could finish the game in 11min.
BUT, When you actually finish a level you will feel a sense of accomplishment.

I managed to jump onto the third platform in level 01 after many, many tries It's too hard for me. And the game knew!

Nice work!

You can time your jumps by holding the jump button, for short jumps you tap the button, for longer ones just hold more.
sometimes you have split second to decide, and sometimes need to memorize it.
Good luck.

Also, different levels have different smart ass comments.

Why don't you port this to AMOS or Blitz Basic? Backbone is a waste.

I suspect that Backbone is attractive to those whose skills don't lie in the direction of code, but rather they're better at level design and graphics or sound. Backbone pretty much takes the coding out of game design, but at the cost of really stupid system requirements.

Thanks, Amiman99. I was running it under FS-UAE, but will try it on a real Amiga later today and see how I get on.

UPDATE:
Works just as I thought it would on my A1200T.
It's addictive as hell! Good work!
