WinUAE Assembly dump from point to point?

Hello,

Is it possible in WinUAE to like start recording what assembly is being executed without the need to modify the running program before hand?

For example imagine a game which flashes when your life is 20/100. Is it possible for me to like "hit record" when life is 25/100, "stop record" when life hits 15/100 and then see all assembly that executed during that time?

It isn't going to help, number of instructions will be huge, it can be tens of thousands or even more..

"deep" trainer debugger (or action replay) option probably is more useful.

Hi Toni, Thanks for your reply. I read the AR3 manual and looks like this is targeted mostly for parts of a game related to life reduction (which fits perfectly with the example I gave). However let us say I am interested in other parts of the game as well? Example how computer calculates next move.

What options do I have?

For example imagine a turn based game. I want to do a move which is not allowed (a pop up appears when you try it). I want to disable this. How can I look for that check? Is WinUAE debugger still not practical for that?

From AR3 manual I read about the "D" command which looks like what I am looking for. Manual says "D followed by the (return) key will begin Disassembly in 68000 m/c from the point at which the program was frozen".

However what I can't understand is why it always starts from same address regardless of at which point in game I try it out.
