req.: VideoBackupSystem

Hi, I found a videobackup cables I bought a many years ago in germany , but program located on disk is not readable, I think I had english version 3. Could someone send me this proggy ?

I've uploaded the disk from my copy of VBS, however I think I have v2 or 2.1 (if my memory is correct).

thanks, do you know that tapes created with 3.0 are compatible with v2 ? (I will try it today evening ;-) )

No idea. VBS was not very reliable, and soooo slooow (200MB on a 4hr tape).

I have some of mods I created backuped on tape :-) I would like to extract them back , I hope that your VBS will work :-)

Btw your version is 1.5 :-)

I tested your version, but didnt work, I am sure that is because your version is older. I tried to backup one floppy with your VBS and restore it - everything OK. When I tried to restore backup (I created years ago) VBS ends with error message :-/

I've upped VBS 3.0 to the Zone.

@Galaxy
VBS was indeed slow and was the very reason why some clever coder released a freeware replacement program called VBackup (also in the Zone for anyone interested).
