TF1260 won't boot from EHIDE
I was looking on this site the other day and I saw the options for the modified Kickstart to boot from the TF1260. Have a look at the attached Pic ...

There's another easy way to build a 1MB ROM for the A1200 if you have a Mac or Linux machine:
https://github.com/reinauer/amiga-ro.../main/software For the A1200 you can put ehide.device directly into your ROM so you can boot off the TF1260 IDE without hacks. It will allow you to add other stuff to the ROM as well, like putting workbench.library and icon.library back into the ROM, add HrtMon, additional filesystems, or whatever you like (it is extensible too, contributions welcome) |
