Creating a #?.info file
Hi,
Im trying to port my original BoulderDash game from adf to a whdload game. Im reading the documentation on whdload.de and it is saying Create a #?.info file with "WHDLoad" as <Default Tool> and a Tooltype "SLAVE=#?" containing the name of the slave. On the Amiga CLI im tryin "whdload BoulderDash.Slave" but im getting Error 205, file doesnt exist - I know that im tryin to create it, how do i create the file that the guide wants me to!? Please advice, whdload dev newbie |

DONE ◦Create a disk image using DIC in this drawer. DONE ◦Create a #?.info file with "WHDLoad" as <Default Tool> and a Tooltype "SLAVE=#?" containing the name of the slave. |

Ok - All .info files on the Amiga are Icons - so anything that has an Icon is a .info file
The .info would be the last thing needed as the .info file is useless without a .slave |

.info file can be created with the icon editor on workbench
If you can program assembley start by looking at the source code of another .slave If not upload the DIC image and someone will tell you what needs to be done |

Sure, but it was designed with an editor as it seems. Here's the original game from Kingsoft:

Anyone want to try a generic slave ill have a look later but if the disk has traps someone clever would have to patch it.
Is there a WHD install for Emerald Mine? |
