2 Video's of iUAE, iPhone/iPad
Heya peeps, it may be a month late, but here is a little video I made of frontier on my ipod touch.
I would of done it off the ipad, but I need to get a newer version of the SDK for my work Mac. [ Show youtube player ] [ Show youtube player ] I know there is a sound issue, the sound stutters occasionally, thanks to OpenAL, so I need to move over to coreAudio. nice one ! but you know you wont be able to play it right unless you do a major rehaul of frontier UI, and make it touchscreen friendly, I cant see how you can play that game on any palm device with all those tiny buttons and hectic mouse control
but it's still nice to watch the intro ! hehe as a side note, since it is impossible to distribute an emulator through official iStore channel, I wonder if it's possible to distribute custom iOS software by other means ? |

Or You send my your iphone/ipad ECID, and I can send you an ipa. Last edited by Vairn; 12 January 2011 at 00:09. Reason: I forgot about the ECID |

thank you, I'm on android, but I'm planning to get an i-pod touch and tether it to my phone in the future. I just wanted to check. are you planning to release this through one of those channels ?
oops, now that I read your post again and you're planning to play on an i-pad ? that may be possible (I missed that, I thought you're planning to play on i-pod touch) |

I would advise you to do so ! At the moment android tablet market is small, because android 2.2 doesnt have good support for big screens (so I was told)
but with the coming of 3.0, this will change, and in 2011 there will be a flux of android tablets in the market. http://www.engadget.com/features/tablets-at-ces-2011/ just a tip |

Wow, I remeber the days of struggling to get a P75, then a P133 running Amiga emulation at full speed with sound - DOS Fellow came in handy back then.
Now we have mobiles running Amiga emulation. Thanks for the vid. |

well in other news it seem Iamiga emu coming from Manoimo is coming along dandy, for anyone who's interested, please look here http://toucharcade.com/2011/01/15/an...lation-system/
but in saying this they will have only licenced Ip running on it, and you'll have to pay for each game, like they did on the C64 one they made. |
