old topic ... sorry. But I'm always on the lookout for potential new music format. However, I can't seem to find this game. Invictus proposes a free download of the PC version only (http://onescapee.invictus.hu/)

Thx in advance to whoever can upload this.

The PC version has all the music tracks as mp3s, should be all you need, but the quality of those tracks sucks compared to the amiga... listen to the amiga music, emulated or from the real hardware, then listen to the PC version.... PC sound alot worse quality wise.

Not a long time ago, Don Adan created plugin for EaglePlayer to play music from OnEscapee. Plugin can be found on Aminet.

Heh, ok. Thanks for the link . So, I grabbed the HDF version. Now, I can't seem to be able to access it. Tried to mount this file, to no avail. What is this "fileSys" feature in WinUAE ? Anyone managed to actually access the HDF and its file system ?

i can mount the image on a linux box, using:
mount -t affs -o loop Onescapee.hdf /mnt/test

file Onescapee.hdf
Onescapee.hdf: Amiga Fastdir FFS disk

give it a try, if you got a linux box around.

Edit: no clue about the "FileSys:" field.

Not if the intro music can be successfully ripped from one of these images.

You can't because it is in custom format. Images won't change it. You can play it using EaglePlayer plugin.

I guess you can rip everthing, if you really want. Even if it means that you have to write new software.

In this case, yes - you are right. But I sincerely doubt that it was the intention...

I always thought the guy singing the OnEscapee theme sounded a lot like Lemmy from Motorhead

For anybody that is just interested in the intro music it is available on Wanted Team's Examples Page. To play it you must use either Eagleplayer/Delitracker on an Amiga or UADE (you must increase chipmem_size in uaerc to 8) - deliplayer will not work due to a limitation in the memory settings of the emulation core.

Have you ever tried to rip the music from the Suburban base intro called Footsteps?
