This really gets to me SO much.... I was so willing to check out this game and see if it truly was an official CD³² version. I thought there was only the Ninjaw/FLT-adapted rip version! I think I'll try and find a way to contact laacertanguis....

Right, I've sent him a message through eBay going something like this:

"Excuse me for a little mo. But what are you going to do with that Pinball Prelude game you won recently? I was hoping to win it and dump an ISO/WAV copy of it for the TOSEC team over at the English Amiga Board (http://eab.abime.net). Perhaps you could at least help out with contributing this game along with any other rare Amiga CD titles you may have won also on eBay recently towards this little database of theirs?

Let me know what you think, thank you. :-)"

I have an idea how to f off this guy, burn any rare cd32 game to a disc, print a nice color box for cdcover, and try to sold it ;-), he did the same to one user, had a look at http://feedback.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayIS...=lacertaanguis

if other guy want to buy or bid the highest bid on item, someone of us should give a better bid and "won".

Or you can try to piss of him, sell a 3 of very rare games, and when he is highest bidder, someone of you should place a automatic bidder up to 300$ :-)

Pinball Prelude is an official release, Ninjaw just ripped the amiga part of it afaik rather than imaging the whole disc.

I thought though he bundled the files from the FLT-cracked AGA floppy version with some HD-loader crack somebody had made plus a menu setup of his own making? Would be funny if the official release also used the exact same type of data files.

It is an official CD32 version that will also work on AGA machines with cdrom drives. There is a PC version on the CD also (look closely at the auction pic of the game box), so the CD is probably some hybrid Amiga/PC format along the lines of the dual Amiga/PC format disks used on some Kixx budget releases.

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU DopPie!

Looks like the seller did get screwed, haha - it's the same person selling it!

I've sniped it for 100.99 euros this time. If I still get outbid in the end despite that figure, then there's truly no hope in future eBay commitment.

You're welcome Hope you get it for one euro. It would be a good laugh and better yet to think the other auction went for far more.
