Ripping Dreamweb sprites

Hi,

I'm a huge fan of Dreamweb and I wanted to try to recreate bits of the game in Unity to improve my dev skills (without releasing anything, just for educational purposes).

I never extracted sprites from any game, so I wanted to ask if anyone knows how to rip them from this atmospheric beast (either from the Amiga or PC version). Any tips or - even better - spritesheets would be much appreciated!

Dreamweb is now supported in ScummVM (which is open source) so maybe this makes it easier.

I think there's already a thread on ripping sprites from Dreamweb. However, it didn't get very far. I once attempted it but gave up and just ripped directly from DOSBox screenshots.

I started a Dreamweb-Hotline Miami-style project years ago with art inspired by it, you can check out it out here:

I can send you the assets I created which is basically a bunch of character sprites as well as terrain tiles from the Sparky's area as well as props and a lot of custom stuff.

I actually saw that project - looks interesting, I also liked the 3d scene. I'd gladly play Dreamweb in low-poly 3D!

I saw the old thread, but it was so ancient I decided to create a new one.

I'll pm you about the assets.

PS I started replaying the game again in ScummVM, the atmosphere is still amazing.
