Not really; there are loads oldschool crackers / coders / sceners on EAB.
For example Galahad / FLT, StingRay, Methanoid, Subzero, Don Adan, Phantasm and probably another 20+ people that I've forgotten ATM. Also if you look at the bottom there's a section "Similar Threads" that shows: ... Call to all UK Sceners, old and new! ... Demo Sceners ... OLD Skool Sceners Interested in Uk "Gathering" ... Ex sceners here ??? ... aMiGa EmU sCeNeRs PaRtY !!! There are many, many more related threads on EAB though Last edited by DamienD; 27 June 2019 at 23:29. |

The 80s is a bit early for me on the Amiga, back then I was a hardcore C64 fanatic and just a kid.
In the early to late 90s however, I was part of several groups and ran my own BBS for a number of years =). |

I was part of the local scene. Swapped lots of warez on boards (sKWEETiS, fANTASiA, bAD, etc.), coded a few PCBoard PPE's, made a couple of mods. I'd be very surprised if anything I ever did was available on the internet, and I was certainly never well known outside of Melbourne.

My era was more mid to late 90's too.
Did some releases for QTX (Some even needed cracking lol). Got into the BBS scene and started running a BBS so had to try and balance my cracking activities with my sysop activities (only had 1 Amiga). Stopped my scene activities in the late 90s but still enjoyed doing some Amiga stuff here and there after that. Did a spell of GBA Trainer making in the 2000s again releasing for QTX. Brought my BBS back online about 18 months ago and since then I've restarted development of the /X BBS software having completely reverse engineered it from the binaries and have been putting out some fairly major updates. |

Still coding stuff but at very low pace and not that great "quality". I am stuck at my 89-91 style stuff where my heart belongs. My latest release was for ZX Spectrum under Scoopex though as that was the platform I migrated from to Amiga
Released a handful of crap demos and tools since the first half of -89 mostly for Amiga but some under GBA as well. |

Bigmama here. Started dabbling in demo coding in '89 I think. I was in Trash, and later Focus design. I still follow the scene, watch streams from parties, etc, but demo coding is minimal..
