Your discussion about color made me think a little more about this. I can increase my choice of 16 colors a little more. I have 24 color plans. and robocop will be more colorful.

checked the latest adf image of robocop on winuae emulator.My config is A500 OCS stock + 512 kb slow ram .i didn't see any problems.


i did not use Mame HitchHikrs . i have use old mame version.Map graphic , patern , tile all ripped.then special program convert map to tile converted. images to tile ( 8x8 , 16x16 , 32 x32 ) px dimesions.

Score at the top is using second bitplane.Robocop is not sprite.its blitter object. But i changed idea. robocop will be made sprites.

Game will be need 1mb chip or chip 512 kb + slow 512kb ram

I agree with some of the criticism. i think i need a lot of time for game development

I apologisie if I came across as overly critical. I hope you can find a way to make this refelect more closely the arcade and also improve on the Amiga version!

imo, looks very good for such an early effort, amiga deserves a better version, I wish you can find a way to do just that m8!

I did some more color work. Total twenty four colors. Robocop is sixteen color.But there are some bugs.

Do anyone has the arcade Robocop soundtrack in a format readable by Hoot? So i can extract samples and try to redo it

Never mind, i found it myself! Will start to work on it soon but, since i expect seko want to keep sound effects, a three channel reduction is needed

* robocop uses guns and shoots. and motorcycle attack.
* robocop move frames fixed.

I legit think that all these new awesome ports should replace the shitty shovelware which shows up as the 'real' version on archives and websites.

Just put the new version as the Amiga version and a note and link to the garbage port as a curiosity.

However am not too happy on mod size, first one is 150k - ok does include boss and level complete themes but still not light - is the downside of rendering all chords in wav i guess

An addition: can i propose to use arcade assets or someone that knows how to draw arcade style to make some of the home computer levels (identikit, hostage situation) and add it to the game? Will be an interesting hybrid in my opinion
