[WIP] Galaxian conversion

After the success of Xevious transcode & amiga adaptation, it's my turn to take a classic and transcode it to 68000. Mark is adapting to Neo Geo in parallel.

Here's a very short video (I had trouble with lagarith, switched to intel and video got truncated...) showing how the game runs so far.

Lots of issues & missing features but playable.

This is great, Galaxian Turbo Edition would be the icing on the cake

Not everyone has cash to get the best versions - is there any video of it?

I like the idea of having the arcade ships plus the end level bosses and a translated intro, maybe as alternate way of playing!
That is the way ports were made in the 80s/90s by japanese, not for arcade fidelity but to expand on the concept or cover shortcomings - screw (partially) the purists!

Galaxian is way more basic, Galaga is the next level, also using Xevious hardware: more sprites, etc... would also need a A1200 to be rendered properly.

Galaxian runs properly on a ECS system (with very little compromises on the star scroller as it's pretty difficult to do the exact star scroller they're using - which required extra hardware too - with sprite multiplexing like I'm doing, but it's good enough).

Nah, if i remember the most of chaos on the screen, Galaga is perfectly doable - colors wise - in OCS/ECS dual playfield if you decide to use bobs, hence has to be coded almost from scratch
