Cool A new frontend for all C64 and Amiga fans !!!

The waiting is finished ! Finally it's avilable an user friendly program to play all you favorite C64 and AMIGA games with name, company, year, programmer, musician, etc., with the possibility to search, for example, all the games made by a certain programmer !
A frontend like Mame32 or Arcade@Home (just to mention two)
The program is called "ARMAKUNI" (do you remember Last Ninja, uh?), and it's going to be a must have for all commodore fans !
After some beta releases, now the final version is available here:

www.emuitalia.com/armakuni

Suggest and contributions (of any kind) are always welcome !
Signed: The Armakuni team

Same error as before, missing "NMBUTTONZ.OCX"

Is this a custom made control and if so why isn't it distributed along with the program?

Nevermind, ignore my last post, I just noticed the "complete" version on the top of the page!

Quite a difference in size, 7megs compared to the 200kb "upgrade", but i refuse to "install" it due to the overwhelming amount of DLL's it requires.

For the DLL:
I know the program it's a bit heavy, but it's written in visual basic, and my friend had to put the dll along the program...
We can't override this problem!
Sorry!

The site now works for me too.

Sorry to go off-topic but I found under 'other works' a 'Zoonic' page. Are you really making a Sonic hack for the Amiga?

Yeah, I saw that too. Very, very cool. My only suggestion would be on the title screen where MEGA replaces SEGA, maybe you can make that say AMIGA?

Well, well...
Pleased that new site now works well with almost everything and for everyone.
In a few days (a week?) we're going to release a major update, so stay tuned!

About Zoonic: (Administrator, sorry for the OT! It's only for this time!)
The project was started years ago, along a friend of mine, for the first time at work with amiga assembly. Due to the restriction of Amiga (500!) hardware, we abandoned the project (we have would to put in a multilevel parallax scrolling. bob effects, 32+32 colours at time. All running at 50 Hz (maybe this was too much for us!) For the hack... well, it speak for itself: Sega/Mega...
Now, the project will be resurrected, but unfortunately for all the Amiga fans, only on PC (even if 90% of graphics was painted with my old amiga 2000!). When? You'll ask to the main programmer, or take a look at the news, when it will be downloadable!
Cheers.

*lol*

I like the 'All images Copyright © Bottazzi Roberto and ZERO Productions' at the end of the page of SEGA'S graphics.

Just struck me as funny thats all.

Arr... go to an AGA machine, you can pull it on an 030 1200 I suppose...

Heck, my belief is that any game can be created for any machine. Mr. Nutz is almost Sonic on a 500 :P

And if you do it for PC please remember a way to keep track of the speed. There was actually a sonic game released for windows (3 games in one actually) which ran way too fast. I know Sonic's supposed to be fast but compared to a well running emulation this was crazy.

Are you talking about the Sonic & Knuckles Collection released by Sega in 1997? I've played that and I sure don't remember it behaving in a very fast manner. What system were you using back then?

Also, what do you think of the PC conversion of Sonic CD? I think both game & soundtrack are the shit, baby! Tops!!

Just a little note about Zoonic graphics:
I want to point out that all the graphics was painted by hand and NOT ripped, I spend weeks to copy the original SEGA graphics, but, of course, who cares? There's dozen of hack on internet, it's only one of them. I hope that my friend (the programmer) will know about the difference machines speed!
And...yeah...we could make it on Amiga AGA (but we haven't it). Unfortunately, we haven't any idea how to go on...
Cheers.

Nothing beats the original SegaCD Japanese version. The PC game is poop in comparison.

I also havent noticed seriosu speedups in Sonic n Knuckles... it ran just fine ... on my P133

Try this program out, can be handled like the armakuni program, a few bugs left but just report failures to the author and they will be fixed fast: http://www.amigaconfigs.de/

But it's a really ancient frontend. Not sure if you really want to use it...
