PUAE Retroarch core Nintendo Switch crash

Is anyone aware as to whether the crash in the PUAE core in Retroarch in Nintendo Switch has been fixed?

The core crashes when you close a game, and then try to load another game.

This means that you need to completely reset Retroarch before playing a new game which can get tiresome.

I have, and I agree it is good. But PUAE can reliably load savestates in WHDload without them glitching out.
