Amiga Forever 2005

I just got AF 2005 Premium edition. I've installed the latest version (it installs Winuae 1.0), and the install is ok.

I have also 2 DVD discs with it but my Samsung DVD drives do not like them, anyone else had any trouble with them? I have yet to try them on my dedicated DVD Players.

I tried on my oldest DVD Player, a Sharp, and got it to work finally. The Dave Haynie interview was interesting and I certainly enjoyed the Launch of the Amiga video, just reminds me of the Apple type announcements Jobs does and with the excellent crownd reactions....

I'd say it's your Samsung drives :P

either that or the discs are the cheapest available and not G05

The more expensive the DVD Player (ie branded) the greater chance it'll struggle with varying types of DVD-R discs!

I found some Sony drives fail with certain discs, but these discs work fine on every cheap DVDPlayer in the world!

I had no problem with the Amiga Forever 2005 DVD's. In fact, after they showed up - FINALLY... they were production DVD's and I was very pleased. You might mail Cloanto and talk to them about it.

I didn't really need to refresh my Amiga Forever 2.0, 5.0 or 6.0 - this purchase was more to support the terrific work the guys do on AF!! That and I wanted the video of 'Inside Commodore', the developers video.

I have seen most of the videos, I found the Amiga announcement/introduction quite good, it was certainly ahead of every one else.

BTW, folks! Watch 'History of the Amiga' a very inciteful view of Amiga Inc by the original Amiga makers. I contributed that video to Cloanto!!!!
