Big grin Crazy Columns - New simple colourful puzzle game

Hello community,

I want to present a new game for the A500. The game Crazy Columns is a simple colourful puzzle game. Is based on the classic -Columns- from 1990 by SEGA.

Feature listing:
  • Colourful puzzle game for young and old
  • Choice of 1 and 2 players supported
  • Can be played with keyboard or joystick
  • Three different player modes to choose from
    - Standard
    - Time Battle
    - Crazy Fill
    - Bad Budy
  • In the game mode "Standard", you can choose between 5 difficulty levels
    - Novice
    - Normal
    - Hard
    - Extreme
    - Impossible
  • This results in seven independent leaderboards that are loaded and saved
  • You can choose between eight different backgrounds
    - Big-Green
    - Big-Blue
    - Big-Orange
    - Big-CRAZY
    - Small-Green
    - Small-Blue
    - Small-Orange
    - Small-CRAZY
  • Add up to two customised backgrounds
  • Timeless music and crisp sound effects

Some screenshots (from the website):

The demo version is available here

Happy playing
JoeJoe

Looks really good - will try out later. Nice to see new games appearing - it is genuinely a great time to be into the Amiga.

Update:
A pre-version is available for download now. In this version, the three known game modes (Standard, Time Battle and Crazy Fill) can now be played and tested. The fourth game mode "Bad Buddy" is for 2 players only. There is no highscore in this mode. For each dropped or setted jewel block, the buddy gets a stone as a gift. This stone cannot be removed. Whoever has the most points at the end is the winner.

Please reports any bugs or mistakes.

Well then, have fun playing.

first of all, thank you for the suggestion. I had decided against an exchangeable skin during the implementation. From my point of view it was sufficient if you can already select the background. In the full version there is also the possibility to design two own patterns with the given tiles.

Hello everyone,

I can proudly announce today that my game is now available as a full version. Many new features have been added as well as more GraphicFX and SoundFX. The personal backgrounds are now available for everyone and the loading/saving of the highscore and setting is also active.
If you want, you can also enter the online highscore. Please note the structure of the online key.

The game is available in English or German. Oh, the whole thing is "Free2Play".

You are welcome to send me bugs and critics.
Then have fun playing
JoeJoe

Nice game! Just played it a bit, got a highscore but submitting the highscore on your website failed ("Access failure. Please ask the webmaster.")
