RPG game
I remember a review in CU Amiga magazine of a RPG-game which is programmed by Delphine software. The game looked a bit like FTL's Dungeon Master and was released in 1989. I think the game had the word Dungeon in its title. Does anyone know which game I refer to? Thanks in advance.

I can't remember this being reviewed in CUA, plus for certain it wasn't from Delphine, but I can only think of (off the top of my head), two RPG's that feature Dungeon in the title and have a similar interface to DM:
Dungeons of Avalon |

But if it IS a Delphine game, it has to be Castle Warrior.

Castle Warrior it is
Castle warrior it is. I was certain the title started with the word 'Dungeon' but it seems I was wrong.
Funny thing is this is the first time I see this game in colour. I only remember its black'n'white screenshots in CU Amiga. This game got a very low score (somewhere in the 40%, I think) which made it one of the lowest scoring games in CU Amiga in 1989. Is it really that bad? About Dungeons of Avalon 1 & 2; Are these not German budget RPGs that came on a disc magazine? |

CP-Verlag
The 'Dungeons of Avalon' title sounded very familiar to me, so I have checked the Amiga Joker-index.
It seems both Dungeons of Avalon 1 & 2 were produced by German company CP-Verlag. It was published in their Amiga-Fun diskmagazine range. Both games got a very good reviewscore (somewhere in 70%) in Amiga Joker |
