Setting up AMITCP/IP 4.+ as a local machine
Hi.
I'm having trouble trying to get AmiTCP/IP 4+ under WinUAE, (dunno what one, i got it from TOSEC) running as a stack, just so I can Telnet into the machine, and try tools. I managed to get it going somehow with the demo version on my real A1200, but cos the screen is f#@!? and am waiting for some kind of adaptor to plug it into my 1942 monitor, i use winuae. -- So I just enter in bogus details, just so the stack could run, so I can do stuff like ping 127.0.0.1, telnet 127.0.0.1 etc etc. But when i try to get amitcp running. startnet fake.ips.for.AmiTCP it runs, then after 20 seconds spits out a error, knowing that it's not connected to anything, damn. |
