Thanx for your work, Doug!

If you use Roadshow you can adjust you clock automatic with the program "facts".

http://aminet.net/package/comm/tcp/facts

I autostart "facts" on every startup of my AmigaOS 3.1.4.1 HDD, so that it takes the time from a timeserver (I use the german timeserver ptbtime1.ptb.de ) and adjust the clock of my ACA 1231/42 in my Amiga 1200. Works perfect, so that there is no need to adjust the clock manually. ;-)

Cheers
Sid

Hey that's awesome! I tried another time server program last year, but it did not work. I think the clock chip on my A4000 board was bad, though. I will try this one out!

Did you get much negative feed back from the truth about Amiga in America video? I thought you and Amigalove guy showed a lot of disrespect to the European Amiga people.

If the Amiga has an internet connection it should be no problem to have a defective clock chip or no clock chip at all. The time will be set every time the amiga starts. The only thing is that the time wont get saved without a battery buffered clock after the amiga got turned off. But.... since the time will be set at every start anyway that doesnt matter. Maybe you should try that out...

You have to change some settings of facts to synchronize the clock at every start automatic, but thats easy to do.

Cheers
Sid :-)

I cant speak for everyone, but for me the US Amiga Scene was completly unknown. Maybe it was not loud enough.
But i dont see any reasons to give negativ feedbacks, if someone is telling his sight of the thing by showing evidences.

Maybe Doug wants to say something in this thread:
