It's a Knockout! 2020/21: Round 1 - Cannon Fodder






Rules:
Starts now, finishes Saturday 19th December 2020, at 11:59 p.m. GMT.

Post full-screen shots containing your score, and write it clearly underneath.

No cheating!, No CONTINUES, No Trainers, No Savestates - anyone caught cheating gets disqualified.

Score = Reached mission * 100,000 + Phase * 10,000 + Remaining Recruits * 100
Play missions 1-7, if you beat mission 7 take a screenshot at the mission 8-1 briefing screen.


Here's how the system works:
Players compete for the highest score within their group.
The top two from each group proceed to the Quarter Finals: Battle Squadron.
Winners will be seeded against Runner-Ups.

Removed the "If you get to the end you get another 100,000 bonus"-rule now because this bonus is included in reaching level 8-1.

Great result nonetheless.

Round 1 is over: Juanma, judolf, lifeschool and mipe have been knocked out.
Loki's and MikeyG's scores held up in the end, though it was very close.

I'll now do the seeding for the quarterfinals "live" in the forums. For the semifinals there will be no randomized seeding - it will be winners of the 1st and 2nd quarterfinals and the winners of the 3rd and 4th quarterfinals that will play against each other in the semifinals.
