I have followed the guide but still got the same problem with the audio. Sounds like an old modem. The speech works fine but not the music

The 'about box' option in the launcher tells you which game engines are supported with each 68K release (020/030/040/060 all support different numbers of games) Last edited by NovaCoder; 20 December 2019 at 00:26. |

I think Novacoder was saying that compressed audio (mp3) soundtracks was too much for the poor old 68k. |

@NovaCoder
Is it possible to activate the "Aspect ratio correction" in the graphics settings of Scumm1.5? (RTG & AGA) In the old 1.4.1 version I can choose the option - on the picture below you see the difference between both versions. With 1.t Guybrush is a little bit chubby and the screen is not fully used. At Lands of Lore is also a difference between the two versions - with 1.4 all works fine, with 1.5 there are slight graphical errors. The bug is not a big problem but just for your info. Thanks |

Sorry my friend but I don't want to recompile ScummVM, it's a huge project that takes hours to setup and build and I just don't have the time these days.
I think you can use the Tooltype in the AGA version to specify an NTSC monitor driver which should make DOS 320x200 games full screen BTW Last edited by NovaCoder; 18 September 2020 at 07:31. |

No problem, I didn't know it is such a big effort. Thanks anyway, I will check the NTSC version

I was trying to run Lands of Lore CD version with SCUMMVM AGA v1.5 and game is working, but have graphic glitches. Is Lands of Lore working with glitches or just I have wrong version of game (It's working fine with SCUMMVM on other platforms)?

I've experienced this before; use an earlier version of Nova's ScummVM and all is good.

Just checked my .HDF; I used this older version of Nova's ScummVM for "Lands of Lore":

Hi NovaCoder, I noticed a recent release of ScummVM 1.9.0 for classic Amigas. http://m68k.aminet.net/package/game/...cummVM_AGA_060 After reading the documentation my impression is that it could allow using uncompressed audio files (wav) instead of compressed (ogg). It seems as a perfect option, since ogg audio is unusably slow and distorted on classic Amigas. However, it is not clear what wav format shall be used - 8/16bit, 22/44kHz, mono/stereo, signed/unsigned? I tried it with Loom CD version, using Track1.wav and for some wav formats I got no sound, for others interrupted sound and in some cases it completely crashed. Thus, can you please provide an information about correct format for wav files in ScummVM_AGA 1.9.0? Thank you! |
