REQ: Toado - Frogger '94 (full version)
After quite a while, another request from me.
I just tested all three TOSEC images of 'Toado' and, all of them were demos. Toado (1994)(J. Wills) This is a demo version and public domain. Toado (1994)(J. Wills)[cr Legend] Toado (1994)(J. Wills)[cr Legend][a] These two are demo versions too, but taken from AMIGA FORMAT magazine, February 1994 issue. http://amiga.emugaming.com/af/af056.html If you let the intro stay a while, you can read it clearly. So this is no crack but just a hack! So does anyone happen to own the full version with all 20 levels? Thanks in advance for digging |

Yikes! a thread of mine from 2002 (two thousand and two in words).
But yes, rsn's request for another full version of a shareware game indeed reminded me of this So back up with it again ... there is always a chance ... |

There was an F1 Licenseware version of this released - I know because I spoke to the author about it - he very honestly didn't take my money for the full version but pointed me in the direction of F1 to get a full copy - he was a nice guy, I remember speaking to him on the phone for quite some time about... Amiga's!
Surely the F1 full version must be around somewhere... I will check my stuff. |

its worth looking for because its a great game and one of the best versions of frogger i have played.
I wonder if he still lives at the address and if he does will he still have the game after all this time i wonder. Last edited by mike4466; 05 May 2010 at 17:41. |

Fingers crossed that it's the full version Peter If you don't find it, you could ask for it here : http://www.f1-software.com/f15d_amiga.php (but I'm sure you already have that on your list )

I already contacted F1 - but the guy doesn't remember having it... :-(
I'm sure the original author sold it to F1... BTW - mike4466 - doesn't the cracked version have all the levels anyway? |

Rats - the version I had on disk is the AF Demo - I can't believe that this is another full version that I had back in the day (I hate that expression!) now only to be left with the Demo!!!
mike4466 - do you have the author's details anywhere on any of the disks you have - I could try to get in touch with him - but don't hold your breath for an answer - contacting authors is REALLY a long shot these days and unfortunately I rarely get a reply (sigh) |

Am I the only one who thinks posting a random person's (probable) address on a public forum without their knowledge is a bad idea?
EDIT: Cheers Mike! Last edited by Graham Humphrey; 06 May 2010 at 22:49. |

The address is on the game itself you just have to wait a little while for it to show up.

That's my fault - I should have said PM me the details - I have the details I need now so, your right Graham - it might be an idea to delete the details now...
Sorry - thanks for the info mike - I will contact the author... again - only spoke to him about 14 years ago!! |

Although what would his reaction be ringing out of the blue he might not like it so it might be best to write to the address instead. |

Thanks for exhuming this.
Now THAT would be cool - getting the full version after 8 years! Yes, EIGHT years, since I started this thread back in 2002! Fingers crossed boys! |
