.raw ->.ipf

I need util for converting .raw files into .ipf, is there such thing available for download?

since I have a feeling the answer will be "send them to caps" or similar, I have additional question; Is there ('downloadable') document that defines .raw and .ipf formats used for backup-ing original diskettes? or anything other that can be useful in examining those .raw files besides hex-editor, dissasembler and such..?

Hi orange,

It might not be quite what you want, but here is a PDF document of the similarly intended FDI 2.0 file format specification:
http://www.oldskool.org/disk2fdi/files/FDISPEC.pdf
It might be helpful in some way.

FDI is the file format produced by Vincent Joguin's Disk2FDI program.

Since the software to convert nor the IPF format itself is open source, your best bet would be to contact the SPS guys and ask for it. IFW visits here quite frequent, so that should be worth a try. Even if you might not like to hear it, but why don't you want to do it the 'official' way?
