my systems (using Roadshow): A4000, X-Surf100, CS-MKIII- 9,295 kb/s download speed and 10,101 kb/s upload speed A1200, A314-cp, PiStorm32-3A+- 3,171 kb/s download speed and 2,071 kb/s upload speed Note: This is running off the 1200's clockport A1200, onboard Pi wifi, PiStorm32-3A+: -download speed= 21,978 kb/s -upload speed= 23,573 kb/s Last edited by klx300r; 11 May 2024 at 06:09. |

I connect to internet my A1200 once in a while using a pcmcia 56k modem
I not tested using such program but my speeds are around 5kb/s download 5kb/s upload this is funny compared with my PC + fiber optic connection downloading some torrents reached up to 40mb/s ie downloading Halo infinite |

The results tend to be skewed by emulators and their interface with the host TCP stack, intermediate buffers used and so on.

Here's mine on a A1200 (3.2 ROMs, ACA1232@40) with a 3com Etherlink 10BT going through a powerline adapter to the router using Roadshow as TCP stack:

Above, I am using MiamiDX... I saw your numbers and was thinking I expected your faster CPU to have faster transfers, but that is faster than I might have thought... But I've heard the Roadshow is the fastest stack out there, so that's probably in play too... |

I guess a valid point, I'm using MiamiDX too and it's slower than expected compared to a few others.
I guess the question is, can anyone be arsed to benchmark with both to test? |
