ClassicWB Problems

Just been installing ClassicWB on Winuae to copy over to my A1200.

I have come across a problem where I have a directory full of WHDload games and when I copy them into the relevant directory in ClassicWB they vanish.

When I go to "Show all icons" they appear but also a load of folders for games I don't own also appear.

Also when I have been copying files over they seem to have different Icons than others (Say for instance I copy a .IFF file over = ugly icon but a IFF that already there has a better looking icon) and also the games that I have copied over just seem to have a full stop instead of a icon.

Thanks

How are you copying them over?
Through winuae or through windows? Windows tends to trash alot of the amiga data.

I am copying the files from a folder setup as a HDD in WinUAE

Seems like the first few directories copied fine.

Whats generally best practice for WHDload games? Install them into the hidden directories or just drag and drop into the lettered folder?

If your using windows folder then you have extracted them and let ebil windows mess with the files.
Best to leave them lha'ed up, and use D-OPUS to extract and copy across.
Dont forget to addbuffers or you will be waiting all day if doing A to Z.
