Bumpy, no one know?

I'm happy to Scan it for HOL if we can locate the game it belongs to!

Just to be sure, have you tried looking online for the name of the islands? You might stumble upon a written FAQ for the game.

I tried a bit (to no avail ) but I am not sure I have typpen the correct name (a bit difficult to read on the current scan).

to make a start i write down what i can recognize - incl. typos:
maybe you can collect the correct description in your first posting - or create a better scan

Isle of Wong
Isle of Wright
Witchdame Island
Isle of Lung

just spent 30+ minutes hammering Google.

TBH that illegible scribble used for the island names makes it near impossible to be certain of what they're actually called.

I don't think you're going to find your game.

Yeah I've been goggling all afternoon

For a while I thought it might be 'Pirates' but it doesn't seem to be.

I was hoping someone would recognise it, and maybe they will eventually.

Mouldy Island I think too.

There is also Langour (Harry ?) Island
Perhaps a French game then since we spell "langoureux" for languorous (although languor is "langueur")

I am pretty sure it is not Pirates. A friend of mine had it on PC and the whole shape of the land masses was quite different. Besides there were a lot of islands and cities with Spanish names.

Besides we already know how the map of Pirates looks like: http://hol.abime.net/1073/miscshot

Could the stuff on the bottom say '<something> factory locations' and '<something> airport locations'? That would mean it's more a contemporary game and not (like I first thought too) a game set in the past.

And I thought it reads like "Burgiling Fortyfications".

OT: How is a map of that quality acceptable? Was that kind of shoddy 'place names written on with a fountain pen' then photocopied thousands of time practice common 'back in the day'?

Imagine the outcry nowadays if games like Oblivion and Skyrim came with a map like that
