Blues Brothers 2 - Jukebox Adventure
Hi everyones,
I'm looking for an amiga version of 'Blues Brothers 2 - Jukebox adventure'. The game has been reviewed in the french magazines 'Joystick' number 45 (january 94, pages 80,81,82) and 'Amiga Dream' number 3 (january 94). (Go to http://www.abandonware-magazines.org to read the review) I found this dead link (the webmaster claims to have played the game !): http://gamma.nic.fi/~haba5/English/blues2.htm This game is considered as 'unreleased' but i'm not convinced... Another challenge (after snow bros ) for the amiga community ??? Thanks guys for your help ! |

...It also got a full page review in Amiga Joker magazine, April 1994. But this says nothing as they also reviewed other AGTW games Mario is missing and Twilight 2000 in the same issue.

Prehistorik 2 was previewed by Amiga Joker somewhere in '93, but it never got a review. A real shame - even the Amstrad CPC got a conversion and it looks nice!
I think I'll upload both Amiga Joker previews of Prehistorik 2 and Blues Brothers 2 next week. |

@CFOU: Is there any chance to bring the game BluesBrother2 to the amiga? Was development on an Amiga-Version started? I can provide the PC-Version, if it helps and I can find the files.

I cant realy see how this could be done unless BB2 game engine is compatible with BB1 and the level files can be converted from Pc to Amiga this is probably very unlikely allthough Id like to know what someone in the know thinks?
Probably the best bet would be to try and get in conteact with Titus but dont hold you breath |

I wonder did Titus share other console port screenshot to that mag or they were working and have some working code of amiga game? BB2 is different game than first one, but can be fun in co-op.

just let me hint you : Blues Brothers jukebox was programmed by Eric Caen on Amiga.
This info is written and embedded inside the PKLITE packed exe of the PC version. He must still have BB2, the problem is that it would be hard i guess to contact, and that in the end he lets us have the prototype of this game. I'm almost sure they finished it on Amiga, but releasing..... that's another story.... |

Was this game supposed to have different characters and title as there is almost no movie connection?

Why do you think Eric Caen would be hard to contact Dennis ? You mean the guy is kinda closed minded or not particularly friendly ? |

Preview because it's not optimized (needs at least 060 and RTG 320x200 32bit).
I hope to make an AGA version. http://netsurf.baderman.net/Blues_Brothers_2.lha |
