A500 doesn't boot when 512k ram added!

I recently installed an 8372A and bent out the 41st pin of the slot so A500 can boot in PAL mode and it worked. But then I discovered that before I installed I had 8370 in the slot and the expansion ram was installed too,it worked fine but with 8372A,expansion ram installed,the machine won't even power up. I want the machine to boot in PAL mode with expansion ram installed (some games require 1MB) What could be the problem?

That is a 1Mbyte Chip RAM Agnus and you have a 512K Chip RAM motherboard.

You'll have to make the appropriate changes to your motherboard. What revision is it?
