Color difference

Look these two pics, Toni... The first is a DBL PAL while the Second is a PAL one. The copper backdrop of the two are the same. But there is a small difference of color steps between the two, that looks small, but for filters like the PAL-M this have big influence. It was generated by WinUAE. I recommend that you use the Windows magnifier for this purpose.

I wouldn't assume same colors if modes are different enough. Double modes are really different internally.

In DBL PAL mode I can get the same bad gradient adjusting the color step of CoperDemon from 1 to 2.

The PAL one I let intact...

Normal PAL 640x512 is interlaced (odd lines are drawn first, 1, 3, 5.., then even lines, 2, 4, 6..). DBL modes are not interlaced = no flickering but needs multisync monitor.
