KS3.1 and A4K

Is there a difference in kickstart roms between the A1200, A4K desktop and A4K-tower? Will a set for one work in another? Specifically, ebay has A1200 and A4K-T roms, I have an A4K desktop, will the A4K-tower roms work in it?

If I remember the 4k-T roms are v40.70 and they contain extra code for the built in SCSI controller in the A4KT. I cannot 100% remember but I think that they have slight problems with IDE drivers, but nothing too major.

Quote:
"The Kickstart for the A4000T does not contain the workbench.library. It was removed from the ROM to the Workbench disk (in the LIBS: directory), to make room for the A4091 SCSI support. So there is a small difference between the disks supplied with the A4000T and the disks for the other OS packages."
v40.68 is best for A4000D and A1200, dunno if they are interchangable.

oddly enough, had a reply form vendor with a big "no". so I guess I'll be getting some A4KD specific.
Cheers!
