In my mind, it would be easier to remove or replace the link with a page that says NO, rather than do something that times out. Feels more like a technical glitch to me, but who knows... |

Yes, but if you were running a company and got a cease and desist, wouldn't you just remove the link to order and place a notice?
When I try to buy "FreeSpace" on their site, it does the same thing, and I don't think Amiga Inc told them to stop selling FreeSpace? Last edited by desiv; 19 October 2018 at 20:16. Reason: I mentioned the wrong program I tried to buy. ;-) |

Looks like a problem between their domain and their payment processor https://secure.2checkout.com
Maybe a DNS problem at the moment. |

Seems to be a connection problem with their payment processor site, it just sits there and won't complete.
All of their online purchases are doing the same thing. So unless OS4 has been "pulled" too due to piracy or whatever else some people dream up, it's just a communication error! |

Dont you understand that one of Hyperion's partners is a lawyer and can actually represent them for free if he had to?
This certainly comes from someone spreading FUD. Just dig who the the source is. And most important, lets play a second as the devil's advocate: If you were sent a cease or desist letter that frightens you, will you make that action public? This is ridiculous at best. Just my two cents. |

Seeing as no one can buy anything from Hyperion's site I don't think the problem will exist for long.
No need to be creating false news and rumours! |

Hyperion does not handle online sales themselves, they outsource it to a widely known company that provides that service to a multitude of companies, not only Hyperion.
It seems that this third party company is having temporal issues, nothing more. |

The A-eon software server is also down with an account suspended message, and has been all day. Looks more like a lapsed account or something to do with their hosting (slipped through the cracks while they were all away at Amiwest perhaps?) rather than anything more serious.
