this is just bullshit man! Can someone report this to ebay ? You cant sell this and claim "its original", everyone can download all those games free from the web!

You can't get those games off the web. They are image files of the originals. They are not .ADF images that have been cracked. WHDload will only work with the original disk images, not the cracked .ADF images that you get from a warez site.

well ofcourse, but you can find all those whdload games on the web aswell..
i would not recomend to sell this, even if you have made this from originals you can sell several copies (even if "original") IMHO... |

I hate people making money of these fscking things So much so that none of my installers are licenced for distribution on compilations without permission so I could go after him through the eBay "verified rights owner" programme and get the auction pulled. If I was in a bad mood. Which I am since I've had no coffee in 24 hours
I love his note to eBay that none of the games here are cracked or warezed versions IMHO they're ALL cracked by the WHDLoad slaves and ALL warez since he's not selling the original disks Time for a snotty "Ask seller a question" I think |

I might put a bid in for it even though its a bit 'iffy' simply because there are some pretty good games on it. I'm not paying £50 though.

Mick: Please do not support this arsehole.
I would much rather you register WHDLoad properly and I'd send you some games rather than support that piece of scum selling our work... |

Very true. He's trying to earn money from someone else's project and the contents of that CD can be downloaded for free!
Too bad he's not selling marblelous, we could simply set ACP&TCP on him. |

A minor success!
After I informed him that 4 of the installers on the CD are mine and not licenced for "derived works" distribution, the seller has agreed to remove those installers. Perhaps if other WHD authors did the same it wouldnt be worth selling the CD at all @Mick22: please don't give him money and encourage this kind of thing! |

60 of those games are my installers so I will contact him now aswell. I'll tell him I want Last Ninja 2 also removed since Legionary did the WHDLoad installer for that one...
Update: I have emailed him, and threatened to dob him in to EBay if he doesn't remove all 60 of those installs. Last edited by Codetapper; 09 September 2005 at 05:26. |

Not so good news
The guy is a plonker - he just sent me this:
Thankyou for your question. If I recall, I replied to a similar question from you earlier on. I will not be selling the CD with the WHDLoad package OR any of the installs - Just the disk images. Girv: Confusing me with you is his first mistake. I suspect when he told you he will remove your 4 installs that he actually meant he will only sell the disk images your RawDIC rippers created etc - the fact he is selling any of our work is bad enough. I have told him again to remove them and I said I'm sure EBay will be happy to investigate his selling of pirated software. There is another option up our sleeves - we can get Wepl to blacklist his serial for the next version of WHDLoad! What do you reckon? |

Why cant you report him to ebay, he is surely a scammer!!
And : "I might put a bid in for it even though its a bit 'iffy' simply because there are some pretty good games on it. I'm not paying £50 though." - You are going to buy it from yourself ? And You can find all those and moe allready on the web.. |

I've reported the auction to EBay. Hopefully they will remove it and/or ban him.
