This is how I got Simion and Beneth a Seel Sky working with Airsoft CD32 Install kit using the games as isos..
I installed diskimage.device to devs and the drive images (DI0 and so on) to storage/dosdrivers and copied only one of them (ICD0) to devs/dosdrivers then renamed it from ICD0 to CD0.Now when you run cd32 install kit you don't need to change the device number. Copy diskimageCRTL to where ever you like,I have put it in Programs folder, run it and click Unit4,(thats where my CD0 device is)and add the CD32 iso game you want to run,you can click on read only if you want, click close and you will see DiskimageCTRL apear on the workbench. Now run CD32 Install Kit by clicking on InstallKit_MUI (you can run InstallKit_GT but have to change the CD ROM number from CD1 to 0 by clicking on CD-ROM Drive)then click on Emulator in the menu to run the game. Oh you can install the games to hard drive too.. but you don't need to as there are on your HD already. Good Luck..Hope this helps.. Anyone like a video on YouTube about it..? Old thread I know but many thanks for all the info here..very very useful in getting things working.
Newb mistake maybe but if using simcd32 with fs-uae, be sure to untick the cd-drive option on the cd config page. Even with no cd image selected it will stop simcd32 from mounting the iso. Result simcd32 will load but stop with just an cd icon displayed on screen. I notice some cd32 games downloaded from emuparadise have two isos and maybe a cue file. Cannon fodder maybe. How would you load these ? Just mount iso1 ? I thought the cue file provides info on music tracks and stuff on the cd in addition to the data track. So you would expect it should be used when mounting somehow. Besides simcd32 is there any other amiga 1200 emulator that works with iso's ? I know whdload pretty much does everything but would just like to see how emulation goes with just official hd installers, cd32 iso's etc for the moment. Thanks ! |

Is the Airsoft CD32 Install Kit still available somewhere ?
Does it support A4000 and Scsi cd-rom drives ? |

It was released as freeware by the original author back in 2010 and can be downloaded from a backup of the site from archive.org:
