libretro-fs-uae ? :-)

Hi ! Hehe, I'm sure I'm gonna get killed instantly for even thinking about it... But what about it ? :-)

I heard there was a libretro-(p?)uae core being integrated... But that's quite a pity as fs-uae is now the de facto UAE It would be so super awesome to make it available to the mass of Raspberry Pi users (the 3rd one is apparently fast enough for UAE). Also one would benefit from the retroarch infrastructure (shaders, input etc.). Well, I'm just a dumb user and it's probably a LOT of work and tons of compromise !

It would certainly be nice with an fs-uae libretro core, but the puae libretro core actually runs fine on Raspberry Pi 2:

This core really exists today; Here is the git repository:

Hi johnray!

I wait for a libretro core of FS-UAE long time. I hope this will be a success.

One question: Is planned to get a menu like FS-UAE have when pressing F12?

Do you provide binaries for i.e. RP2/3?

The software is not yet fully functional. A menu is available: AltL+F11 but some functions are not operational.

Sorry, no binaries are released yet.

I think the main reason for such a menu is the floppy disk change during the game (for games that don't support more than one drive). If this will be possible, it will be enough.

But the menu should be launched by a gamepad button, not a keyboard key (combination)

Oh yes, superb news, thanks a lot Definitely looking forward to it ! It's not in the daily build repo yet apparently.
I'm dreaming awake of some amiga core that would enable to start zipped whdload games, hehe, that would solve the ADF switching problem.
Oh, while I'm at it. Does your build display at 60 Hz or 50 Hz ? Have you heard of the "FreeSync" monitors that apparently accept any refresh rate and display them smoothly and tear-free? (sounds like voodoo to me)
