It's a Knockout! 2008/09: Game Vote
It's a Knockout! 2008/09: Game Vote
Yes - at last. It's time to vote in your games for our knockout competition. To find the full rules for the tournament, click here. But here's a quick summary: - The voting starts now (Sunday, November 16) and finishes at 11:59pm UK time on Saturday, November 29. - Vote for 5 games - your first choice gets 5 points, second 4pts, third 3pts, fourth 2pts, fifth 1pt. Edited votes will be discounted. - Please only vote on one board - either EAB or Lemon. You can only vote once, and also it could cause confusion if you post your vote on both boards - it's easy for it to be counted twice by accident. - If you want to see what the Lemon lot are voting for, click here. - You can only vote for the 15 games played in the 2008 Super League. At a glance, these are: - Super Stardust - Pinball Fantasies - Deluxe Pacman - Jump 'n' Roll - SWIV - The Chaos Engine - Turrican - Alien Breed - Alien Breed 2 - Lotus III - P.P. Hammer - X-Out - Battle Squadron - Banshee - Stunt Car Racer A few other points: - If you vote for Pinball Fantasies, please state what table you would like to play - Partyland or Speed Devils. - If you vote for Lotus III, we will be playing the Timer mode. Please state what difficulty level you'd like to play - easy, medium or hard. - If you vote for Stunt Car Racer, we will be playing two tracks out of Hump Back, Big Ramp, High Jump and Draw Bridge. Please state what two you'd like to play. The game with the most points from the voting will be played in the qualifying round on December 7. The second-placed game will be played in the first round proper, and so on. Anyone is welcome to vote, play and chat at any time. May voting commence... @TF - Are you going to select what Lotus difficulty level you prefer? Not that you have to do it but I don't know if you missed that bit.

I must say I'm very encouraged with the amount of new (or at least not so active) names getting votes in for this compo. Hopefully we'll have a lot of new people getting involved.

Whoops i forgot about that, but then X-Out is part of this voting system so i guess i will leave it up for a liiiitle bit longer
BTW - Shame about Brad no longer wishing to continue the retro game event, but i guess everyone is too busy to put something into it, including me, but things may be a bit quieter for me in the new year so perhaps you and i can contact Grapes of Gorf and and see what we can arrange ourselves, that is of course if you are not too busy yourself!? Anyway, i have gone off topic, sorry Graham Last edited by blade002; 26 November 2008 at 09:36. |
