SID2.0 appeared in an Amiga Computing mag, issue 35 or something, can't be sure. If nobody fulfills that request I can fill you in when I go to my parents' house to pick up my meega disks (it's been months since I last visited them, too busy :/)

I've ZONED my registered version of SID 2. SuperDuper says its good. I can't remember what I paid - (although I prolly kept the receipt somewhere).
BTW what's the deal with ppl saying disks don't retain their data - I've yet to try any of mine that have let me down. |

Disks WILL bit-rot at some period of its lifetime, depending of how you took care of them this lifetime can get extended. I have 15+ year old 5 1/4 disks for my C64 that are still in full operational condition. But they WILL die!
That's why you have to backup |

I've had problems with quite a few amiga disks though I bought them second hand. So I don't know how they've been stored. Is there anywhere that still sells new amiga disks? The pc 1.44mb disks are mean't to be unrelyable when used on an Amiga. Thanks Steve for Sid 2.0

After an Amiga-absence of almost nine years I got myself an A1200 again this week. I'm currently setting it up like (I think) I had it set up all those years ago, and getting used to 50 Hz computer screens again!
I did keep most of the original official disks I had, but found that not all of them are readable. My OctaMED disk is fine (most important!), but my MFR and SID2 disks are goners. Anyone able to get me SID2 again? |
