Bubble and Squeak AGA taking benefit of better CPU?

i like this game, i have completed it and some later AGA levels imo deserve to be seen and played

btw, whatever config you use with this, the smoothness is just not on par with the standard OCS version on a basic 68000

i was wondering if something could be done to let this maybe taking benefit if runned on something better than 68020?

the AGA version or CD32 version are very smooth
why u think that? I could not find differences excepting the lack of backgrounds in the A500 version

completely forgot about that, and figure i have played a couple of levels around an year ago

yes i think i could attempt to complete also that;
something is different on Megadrive, iirc there is no speech when calling Squeak (no COME ON or WAIT HERE) and the gfx backgrond is different from the AGA one

i also remember some more gfx effects on screen, and a better diamonds display

Try it in WinUAE, reproduce the dropped frames. Then try it with immediate blitter.

yes this seems helping a bit, getting closer

at least it is possible to do two consecutively jumps without missing the second one

the inmediate blitter is a great option in winuae that most of the ppl don't use or don't know when to use it

it help to smooth lot of games ie "addams family"
but for other games is useless

btw, the megadrive version of bubble and squeak is very buggy, the best one is the CD32 version which have CD music tracks by the genius Allister Brimble
