Use .vhd extension for new dynamic HDFs.
When creating a new dynamic HDF in WinUAE (which actually is a VHD), the dialogue should add .vhd extension if you only enter a name, not .hdf.

Maybe is better to use something like .dhv - i saw some VHDL files that use .vhd suffix...

Maybe it is better to check what vhd means.. hint: it is nothing winuae specific..

hehe, i know however ... seems that in future many of minimig (and other PLD projects) users can have some environment that use vhd for something else than ...

You can still use .hdf extension, winuae won't care.

VHDL exist much longer than Microsoft Virtual PC (and Microsoft made that we use in MS-DOS 3 letter suffix not 4 or 5 or...)
 so... blame for everything Microsoft
