A few years ago I finally completed K240 without cheating.
In 1994, my brothers and I played the K240 demo from the CU Amiga coverdisk. We got the full game because the demo teased you with features that only worked in the full version. But the demo version gave you a lot more free ships/missiles/credits than the demo, so we turned to cheat codes. Years later, I finally beat the game with no cheats. It was weird having to actually sell ore to the Imperial Transporter. I also learned the value of ramming the enemy with asteroid engines. |

Amiga Games You've Completed (No Cheats)
Here's a list of the ones I finished back in the day in no particular order:
01. Chaos Engine 02. Second Samurai 03. Brian The Lion 04. Lion Heart (On hard mode, Lionhard owned me) 05. Lotus II 06. Space Quest II 07. Space Quest III 08. The Secret Of Monkey Island 09. Monkey Island II: LeChuck's Revenge 10. Universe 11. Curse Of Enchantia 12. Turrican (Alien stages enraged me, the older me wouldn't have the patience now) 13. Turrican II 14. Turrican III (Normal & Hard mode) 15. Lemmings (Easy mode, could never be arsed to try harder levels) 16. Shadow Fighter (Normal difficultly) 17. James Pond 2 18. Ruff N Tumble (Thank goodness for level codes) 19. Simon The Sorcerer 20. Alien Breed 3D 21. Golden Axe I might have finished Super Stardust, either that or I came bloody close. Might be more but can't remember.. Last edited by lordofchaos; 05 December 2013 at 23:26. |

all the Mercenary games, in various ways, although "cheating" is actually legitimate in them, paradoxically!
Turrican II. I got close to the end of Turrican I but the disk was corrupt . Don't remember if I finished T3 or not. Wizball and Wizkid. Beneath a Steel Sky. Got to the final stage of Dune II and my crafty strategy stopped working |

Chaos Engine. I even generated my own Algorithm for cheats but that was able to complete without cheats. What a game!

I completed Cannon Fodder this year. It took weeks and I don't think I've ever sworn at a computer game so much

From memory (which is fading fast lol), the games below I've definitely completed without any cheats:
Flashback Beneath A Steel Sky Unreal Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis Second Samurai Simon the Sorcerer Desert Strike James Pond Lemmings 2: The Tribes Cannon Fodder Menace Lotus (all three) Wizball Another World (what an ecstatic feeling I got on completion) Outrun (Poor port I thought though and looooong loading times) Shadow of the Beast Lost Vikings All the Monkey Island games Rodland (didn't find that difficult) I couldn't tell you how long in hours it had taken me to complete any of the above. Most of them I had taken a break with and returned to a few days/weeks later. Probably a few more I had completed but possibly with a cheat of some form. Examples: Project X (one tough cookie!), Chaos Engine, Turrican, SWIV, to name a few. |

There's no threads about games I've played and finished recently so I figure I'll hijack this ancient one
The other option was What are you playing? but this seems like the better fit. ---- Just played and finished Lost Dutchman Mine using "Lost Dutchman Mine v1.0 (1989)(Magnetic Images)[cr PNA][h Bencor Brothers].adf" (CRC32: f7dfe009) (seems to be 100% in case anyone is wondering - I couldn't find anything wrong with it at least). Kept thinking I hadn't finished it before but after seeing the ending, remembered I had. What a riveting anecdote! |

Well actually I'd do the first to write the ones I couldn't finish, because otherwise I finished all the games, where possible, without ever cheating.
The latest finishes on AMIGA are: Reshoot-R Tiny Little Slug PowerGlove Fred's journey |

We have a tool for this purpose on Lemon, if anyone is interested. It gives you an overview of your completed games and tells you who else completed it. But it doesn't make a difference if cheated or non-cheated, it is up to everyone.

There are many games I've finished on Amiga. First of them was definitely James Pond 2, when I was 4-5 years old. Took me many times to memorize the traps, but cannot recall how much time it took.
I also finished Dynamite DĂĽx as a child a couple of times. I think I also finished Rod-Land as a kid either on C64 or Amiga, as it is not hard on either computer. Much later I finished Lionheart. That took me a couple of times as well to learn the tricks needed, but I got the good ending eventually. One day I played through Turrican 1-3. Finished them all in one day, despite not having much experience on them before. I'm still quite proud of that. I also finished Yolanda. Much hated game, but I actually loved it! It's very much a memory test (a little bit like Rick Dangerous), but I loved the atmosphere. Mr. Nutz was not hard, and it even had saves, so I could continue it on another day. It was quite long after all. I have also finished Shadow of the Beast, but I did watch on Youtube how to finish it, so maybe that is cheating. Superfrog was fun to play through, loved every bit of it. Naturally it took me quite a many tries to finish. I also finished Zool 2 a bit later. |

After all these years I can't quite remember, BUT I surely finished Silkworm a couple of times, with or without second player (always using my Heli...).
And of course, Speedball 2 which is one the best games I have ever played and enjoyed immensely. Now, I need to return and finish Great Giana Sisters and Prince of Persia... |

Hardest one definitely had to be Cannon Fodder back in the day. That last level trying to control multiple teams on the pads was nigh-on impossible.
Banshee was another one that took a lot of goes to complete. |
