Large HDF FIles.

Hello Everyone

I have a question. Is FS-UAE Supporting large HDF files? I have 32gigs image from my vampirised A2000 and I can't force FS-UAE to boot from it. I see only partition DH0 in early startup with some weird filesystem. I was trying to change processor, kickstart, memory options with no result. That image works under WinUAE without any problems.

Below is my config file if needed.

Code:
# FS-UAE configuration saved by FS-UAE Launcher
# Last saved: 2018-11-07 22:30:37

[fs-uae]
accelerator = cyberstorm-ppc
accelerator_memory = 131072
accelerator_rom = /home/atalante/Dokumenty/FS-UAE/Kickstarts/cyberstormppc.rom
amiga_model = A4000
bsdsocket_library = 0
chip_memory = 2048
cpu = 68040
 floppy_drive_volume_empty = 0
 graphics_card = uaegfx
graphics_memory = 131072
hard_drive_0 = /home/atalante/Dokumenty/FS-UAE/hardfiles/A2000.hdf
jit_compiler = 1
keep_aspect = 1
kickstart_file = /home/atalante/Dokumenty/FS-UAE/Kickstarts/Kickstart_v3.1_r40.70-1994-Commodore-A4000-.rom
network_card = a2065
sound_card = 0
 zorro_iii_memory = 131072

disable JIT.

OS4 doesn't not like it.

Unless the '=1' means that it IS disabled.

My only suggestion.

You have to tell UAE that it is a partitioned HDF (an image of a real HDD).

In earlier WinUAE releases you had to set the values for Surfaces, Sectors and Reserved to 0. I guess something similar has to be done with FS-UAE.

I'm not sure but afaik following line is enough for that:
hard_drive_0_controller = ide0

and / or:
hard_drive_0_type = rdb

You doesn't need hard_drive_0_controller = ide0 because it's slow.

I noticed that also. Second problem with it was that only first two partitions was visible. The rest was NDOS. Anyway, I'm very glad it's working :-)
